hiya guys & gals
just a quickie as ever
i have a nice little herb bed that is netted over to stop my troublesome neighbours bengal cat from pooping on my patch,
now everything that i have planted has starting to shoot
now from the surface of the soil to the net there is about half a foot of room before plantation will touch it......
my question is can i remove the net when the soil is completely covered with my herbs and veg or will i have to keep it covered,because of cat dollop
as i said i dont want to keep everything netted over if i dont have to,i dont get to much wildlife in my garden about 4 pidgeons which i feed religiously a couple of starlings that are a masterclass at plucking worms out of the ground that im thinking of employing,plus an endless supply of bee's buzzing around my 3 lavender bushes
if my patch aint netted at the stages when my plantation is thriving and covering all the soil will cats poop and is there any other problems i might have to consider ?
iv posted a pic for you guys that havent seen my "patch" that picture was about seven days ago,everything has now started to pop through the soil
