Im very new here, but for me this bit in bold is the key point. Most people don't grow veg in isolation, and some like me have had to make the most of limited space by sharing beds between veg, shrubs and annuals. Id enjoy having the freedom to ask about all of it here.
I really enjoy gardening, but I find coming here to ask a question about broccoli and then nipping off to google parthenocissus triscupidata pests a bit inconvenient.
Its a very regular thing for me to have 2 or 3 google search result windows open all the time Im on here.
Clearly long time posters will have a greater say about any potential changes, and obviously they are happy and familiar with the current format, but I dont think it will impact the forum experience of the veg purists too much!
I for one, would advocate for keeping your vegetable growing niche but making a wee bit more room for those
other much loved garden favourites.
