runnerbean is on a distinguished road
Default runnerbean

Sorry cajary, I'm up to my eyes in sorting out my holiday to Crotia this Sunday, sorry again, didn't mean to ignore you, I 'm runnerbean over here, in the land of vegetables, this site is lovely, and the lovely lesley sounds great!
That is unusual growing Datura, but you used a posher name than that. tried growing them but they sadly died. Some of the guys on here were interested in the fig tree, a friend of mine suggested it as figs are so expensive, and as my lovely neightbour built a wall all the way up the garden OH put trellis and as its South facing it gets the sun all day, I've also got a grape vine, but the grapes were unimpressing, hard little swivelled up lumps. I read in the paper last week if you tie copper bands round the top of your containers, the slimeys don't like it and won't cross, so I have had OH stripping old electric wires and I've covered a couple of pots, so far so good, but I am not counting my chickens, watch this space. Well I won't be around for a couple of weeks so will contact you when I return, in the meantime Happy Gardening !
