Hi Andii,

Haven't had chance to come on here for a while, I was gutted to read your toms thread, can't believe the blight spread to your potatoes too, but was glad to read that you won't be giving up!

So far my toms have been ok, they are ripening very slowing, I've probably had about a dozen so far. We've had a tremendous amount of rain the last few days though and a few of the toms that were red, but not really really red actually split their skins, I picked them and ate them in a salad and they were ok, excetp for being a little bit mushy.

i picked my last 2 cucumbers at the weekend, I can't see anymore growing at the minute or any more flowers, so that might be the end of the cukes for this year.

We've had two fist sized Aubergines so far and days after picking them so of the tiny ones still on the plants have ballooned!

I've had tons of male flowers on my courgettes but very few female flowers and only some of those got fertilised so not had many courgettes.

How're your sweetcorn, peas and green beans doing?

Nicola
