Hi, how are the pots doing?

Best suggestion I can give is to stand the pots in plant trays so you can water in the morning before work and leave the trays full of water. If the balcony gets really hot the plants can suck up some of the 'spare' which should slow down the wilting.

You might want to consider feeding the plants as they may have run out of suplies from the pot - compost will only feed a plant for around a month. Anything leafy will want a nitrogen fertalizer and tomatoes and podded crops such as beans will want a potassium type which will encorage flower production.

Location of lettuce - anywhere the slugs don't go!
