Quite a few members have asked me recently how to start a new thread so I thought it would be helpful to post the instructions on the forum.

To start a new thread first decide what section of the forum you want your thread to be in, for instance Seasonal Vegetables, then click on that section.

At the top of the page, directly below UserCP and above the list of threads in your chosen section it says New Thread. There is a yellowish blob to the left of New Thread.

Click on New Thread and a new window opens for you to write your thread. You can select an icon to appear next to the title of your thread. These are located slightly further down the page under the window which you write your thread in. Click on the small circle next to the icon that you select.

When you have written your thread click on Submit New Thread which is further down the page under the icons. That's it - job done! Your new thread will now be on the forum.
