Default Grow to show anyone?

If anyone wants to talk 'showing' then feel free to view my blog

The vegetable grower

However, a word of warning .....I'm NOT organic and my gob tends to spout off about things I find annoying and some of my views may offend! LOL

Morning Simon

I'm new to the forum and going through alot of old threads and found yours. We lived in Scotland for 4 years until last year, whilst up there my neighbour was into showing his veg and persuaded me to enter one of my Hanging baskets which i did, but noticed people showing hens eggs which i entered on 3 other shows, i loved the showing side, it was great fun.

My veg growing is not up to showing by a long long long way but i found everyone at our local shows to be very freindly. There are so many different classes to enter from novice to the real experts, House plants, cut flowers, fuchsia heads arranged in a bowl of water plus many more.

I have asked a few people if there are any local shows here in south Lincolnshire but cant find any.

Chilli,

I do a show in Lincolnshire on the 1st Saturday of October and I'm sure there would be others in the region.

If you email me I'll give you the address to apply for a schedule. It's a very friendly show with lots of classes for things other than veg or flowers....including eggs.
