Default Making compost.

This is something I've struggled to get right though I think I'm heading in the right direction finally.
At first I was obviously using to high a green ratio to my browns, I certainly had a huge population of worms but it was all a bit too wet and slimy, so I've added more browns and re piled it into a bin hoping it will be perfect come next spring. I also needed to put wire under it any way as it was constantly being visited by rats

A friend of mine really puts a lot of effort into hers and it is wonderful stuff.

You can help avoid the rats by not putting any meat in there....not sure if you know this already?

hope this helps

I don't put meat in they seem to like various peelings, I've put wire there now.
