Default Tea bags

Hello. I was looking at a web site for recycling and saw an article on growing tomatoseed in used tea bags then potting on to bigger pots. Has any one on here done that. Regards Marmite (always willing to learn)

My old landlady used to sow grass seed onto tea bags. When the grass had grown she used them as mini turves to fill the holes where she'd dug up weeds from the lawn. Worked a treat :-)

Thats a brilliant idea. I will be getting on with that. I did sow some carrot seed to see if anything grows. Regards Marmite

Default Wembley

So Wembley are laying new turf do you think they will use the tea bag method or buy in expensive turf. Maybe they saw it here first. Marmite

a week, to the game, No more excuses from the ground staff, about the pitch condition ????
Happy Days!! (stupo)

Wow, great idea for the holes in the lawn. Will try. Anyone else got a female dog who pees on the lawn leaving little yellowed dead grass holes? Supposedly there's something you can put in their drinking water ... but it adversely affect the cat? Wot if one uses loose tea then, eh? Or will the posh pyramid shaped ones my mum uses with the drawstring work as well!! :O)))
