Default Worms

Hello all. I have 2 compost bins at my mothers house in her garden , plastic construction. The question is , the worms all seem to bunch togeather in the lid and not in the lovely compost mixture or fresh peelings they are only small. Are they trying to escape or getting together and doing rude things, they look like a tangled ball of slimey wool. On turning over the compost there was a lot of wood lice and more worms. Thankyou for reading. Regards Marmite

That`s normal Marmite, I wouldn`t worry too much about it. As long as there are worms in the mix itself the bins are doing fine.
