Ryan, put the manure in a hessian bag and soak in a butt of water for a week. Use this manure water on the ground, DO NOT get it on the plants.

we used to do that with farmyard manure and ended up with "baby bio" IIRC made a good tomato food

i have a water butt and once a month i 1/2 fill it with my excess chicken muck, i leave it in for a week then out as much as i can and leave it to get topped up by rain water, i tend to water the ground rather than the leaf / plant
