Default Making compost

Hi all im new to this site, have been veg gardning with my grandfather for 3 years now and we were wondering if anyone on here mixed there own composts for sowing seeds and potting on? Also what mix and what to use? i have a very clean cement mixer or could mix in the wheel barrow. Also we are having a competition this year to see whos garden and produce is better any advice to give me the edge please. thanks very much.

You can actually buy compost fertiliser "kits" which you mix with moss peat. They are usually designed to mix with 200ltrs of the said moss peat.
