Mushroom compost

My dad bought a few sacks of mushroom compost for my raised beds. All was going well and my crops were thriving but recently mushrooms have started to appear. Ok, I know this sounds great for a veggie grower but the mushrooms are brown inside and full of maggots. I'm worried the maggots will harm my crops. I'm removing the shrooms as soon as I see them and can't see maggots in the soil so I'm hoping there aren't any left behind. Does anyone else have experience with this???
