Hi Steff, welcome to our forum!!

Don't worry about the slugs in your compost bin as they are decomposer organisms and actually help to break down the garden waste so for once they are useful. If you think about the contents of the compost bin - why on earth should they move out to eat your veggie plants? Any eggs should decompose in the heap.

Apparently if you keep turning the compost the ants won't like that and they leave for somewhere more peaceful.

Hi Steff,
"Welcome" to the forum

I see you have met our "Slug Expert"

Be very careful with some of her methods of "Slug Removal"
you could end up in "Serious Trouble"

Friendly advice only, cheers stupo
