compost bin plans/ideas

Have been doing some reading on the benefits of composting, and feeling the need to reduce my household waste guilty as charged...

Does anyone know how I can build a compost bin like the one pictured

If you can get hold of 5 wooden pallets you could make a double bay version.
Two at the back, one each side and one in the middle like a letter 'E'. This is a very popular method used on our allotment site.

I have a plastic one bought from tescos direct at £20 and it is simply huge! Although using pallets to make one sounds good if you can get some for free.

Bizarrely I have just found a frog that has made a nest in the top of the bin - this is truly bizarre as the bin has been full since last winter and the lid requires a very heavy pull to get it off, so I have no idea how it got in!
