Question Young tomato plants ok outside with fleeces on

Hi Folks

Just a wee poll to see what you think before i take the plunge. I'm new to this & trying desperatley not to kill my plants!

Do you think my baby tomato plants will be ok now to live outside 24 hours a day in Scotland with fleeces on until the end of may? (last risk of frost hopefully)

If feel that they are not getting enough light & am keen to get them out, they currently live in my garage & get out for a few hours if the weather is ok.

1. Yes
2. No
3. Not Sure

Hi Juststartingtoms I think we should be fine as far as the last frosts of the winter go.We're officially in summer time now but someone forgot to tell Scotland lol.My plants are taking a hammering with those winds we've had this week.
I got some baby toms at the garden centre today so il be looking to see what you do.
Hope alls well in the garden.

Hi UrbanVegboy

Thanks for doing the poll

I know i'm the same, that's why i'm keeping their fleeces on until this wind passes!! They have been in the garage for 2 days, as the wind & rain is terrible my way!

Good luck to you too, i'll try & post some progress pics once the weather is better!
