Default When Ive?

Hello all.

2nd time of growing potatoes in builders mixing buckets. My question is when Ive hopefully grown my potatoes can i grow them again next year in the same soil?

yes and no

most, if not all, of the nutrients (especially those required by tatties) will have been used.

you can keep the same soil and add fresh nutrients, although i would watch for build ups in unwanted elements or adverse ph concentrations

short quick answer - use fresh soil and dispose of the old in an environmentally friendly fashion

Or could I put horse maure in the buckets and grow carrots in them? Seems silly getting rid of the soil and more expence.

Don`t add manure if you intend growing carrots, also, have you put drainage holes in the buckets?

what's wrong with manure and carrots? can't say i've ever tried

Yes got holes in the buckets. Was gonig to ask the same, whats up with manure then planting carrots?
