Default Using growbags

As haven't much space I have bought one container but also 2 more growbags (have 2 in greenhouse with tomatoes already)

I was told I could grow anything in growbags. Do I still just cut out the 3 holes marked on the bags and sow direct into that? I want to grow more lettuce and spring onions.

thanks

its not a direct response to your question but i grabbed some old plant pots, about 7 inch across and deep and grew my lettuce and spring onions in them, just filling them with the compost bag, i have 3 huge lettuces and springs are shooting up, seem to be working fine and u get much more in the small spaces.

i also had a problem with cats destroying grow bags so the pots help there too
