early stages of an idea

im creating a notebook and thought it would be cool if it was possible to do similar on here, the idea in my note book is to head the page with the veg and variety then put a load of useful facts on there such as germination time, harvest time plus other handy hints that im aquiring from this forum and the internet, i thought it would be useful on here so people can check the thread for there veg and if its there use it, if not make a new comment on the thread.

Im not sure it will work but i was hoping say i started cucumber marketmore, i have writeen so far

then someone else can comment "needs trailing shoot cutting off after 6 weeks" so i edit my post and add this on, then the the person who made the comment deletes there post to keep it tidy

other people can keep adding veg and varieties and we could build a nice little database of useful info

the problems i antisipate are firstly i dont know and others may not know how to delete a comment, and secondly people not tidying up or checking the forum often enough to edit the info in, with these problems tho i was hoping the administrator could delete and edit posts??

Hey lesley, i understand that i probably dont understand the in and outs of my idea, and its probably just a pipe dream but im making it for my notebook so rather than me just annoy you all with hundreds of questions i hoped to make a positive contribution

just wondering if you looked into this further lesley..if its a non starter i wont be offended my note book isnt doing to well, im starting to find out i know a lot less than i dont so maybe the thread would just end up with lots of missing info.

I did develop the thought a little bit though, say i started the marketmore post i would put the tips/info i know but if there was anything specific i wanted to know like germination time then i could type

and then people would know what info im after rather than having full threads for such info
