ive grown some radishes in plugs in the greenhouse, they have done really well and are a couple of weeks old now, im transplanting them into 3 inch pots as i cant see them needing much more and im short on space. what i was to know is
1. can i bring them out of the greenhouse 2. if yes do they need netting 3. they are getting big quicker than i expected how long do they take to be harvestable?? |

Hi Tim, I don't grow radish because I can't stand them!! But radish are hardy and do not need growing in a greenhouse, just sow the seeds direct into the container you want them to grow in and when you think they look good enough to eat - then try one!!
Radish can take up to 8 weeks but they shouldn't so try them after about 4 weeks because as NTT said if you leave them growing too long you end up with horrible radishes!! The radishes will need spacing about 1 inch (3cms) apart.
