Default radishes

ive grown some radishes in plugs in the greenhouse, they have done really well and are a couple of weeks old now, im transplanting them into 3 inch pots as i cant see them needing much more and im short on space. what i was to know is

1. can i bring them out of the greenhouse
2. if yes do they need netting
3. they are getting big quicker than i expected how long do they take to be harvestable??

For what it was worth I'd say
1. can i bring them out of the greenhouse / maybe harden them to weather first if been in greenhouse, mine were in a tub.
2. if yes do they need netting / shouldn't have thought so, birds didn't take mine last year anyway.
3. they are getting big quicker than i expected how long do they take to be harvestable?? / not sure about times, but would say don't leave them to get too big, they become inedible!

I planted Radish straight into my veg patch and they were ready to eat over two weeks ago now... and they've all gone!!! I would have thought they'd be fine outside now! But I don't know much about this ol' gardening!

Hi Tim, I don't grow radish because I can't stand them!! But radish are hardy and do not need growing in a greenhouse, just sow the seeds direct into the container you want them to grow in and when you think they look good enough to eat - then try one!! Radish can take up to 8 weeks but they shouldn't so try them after about 4 weeks because as NTT said if you leave them growing too long you end up with horrible radishes!! The radishes will need spacing about 1 inch (3cms) apart.
