As you are aware my friend, i experiment alot with these plants.

I would say yes, but the chances of success, would be rather slim, unless you could provide the right amount of light levels required for good vegetive growth (approx 14-16 hrs daily) add to this, the fact that you will have to keep the plants warm (no lower than say 10 degrees) and then when the time is right, the plant has to be "Tricked" in to flowering.

Ideally, you could do with an indoor grow room,(i think Airconednightmare) would be able to help you better along those lines, but then would the venture be viable, cost wise????

Hope the above helps, but nothing stopping you from giving them a try??
cheers stupo

yes you can, but as stupo says, it takes alot of time, money and effort to get any chillies.

i usually try to flower 1 or 2 over winter, with mixed results. they will grow fine with 14 - 24 hours of light getting them to flower is more complicated, some seem to just flower at a certain size/age while others seem to rely on temp changes and light cycles.

and a 100 watt bulb in a wee cupboard covered in tin foil isn't going to be enough....you need a 400 watt high intesity discharge, extractor fan(s), oscillating fan, mylar sheet and a fair bit of space

I want to try to increase chillies pot in the office, I have a wide window sills, lots of natural light, daytime temperatures between 21-23 C and a night temperature of about 18C. Do you think they grow??

I kept mine in a greenhouse last year and was still getting fruit from them come november. Im in the UK so i expected them to be dead and gone a long time before that! Maybe the frost would have finished them off if they were outside though.

Unfortunately the weather conditions in my country are not good enough to grow chillies all year round. I heard that some people make indoor gardens for growing chillies. I am noy pretty sure is that possible. If anyone knows, please share your experience with us. Thanks
