Hi Greenfingerbag
quote; is it possible to grow chillies all year round?? As you are aware my friend, i experiment alot with these plants. I would say yes, but the chances of success, would be rather slim, unless you could provide the right amount of light levels required for good vegetive growth (approx 14-16 hrs daily) add to this, the fact that you will have to keep the plants warm (no lower than say 10 degrees) and then when the time is right, the plant has to be "Tricked" in to flowering. Ideally, you could do with an indoor grow room,(i think Airconednightmare) would be able to help you better along those lines, but then would the venture be viable, cost wise???? Hope the above helps, but nothing stopping you from giving them a try?? cheers stupo |

I kept mine in a greenhouse last year and was still getting fruit from them come november. Im in the UK so i expected them to be dead and gone a long time before that! Maybe the frost would have finished them off if they were outside though.

Unfortunately the weather conditions in my country are not good enough to grow chillies all year round. I heard that some people make indoor gardens for growing chillies. I am noy pretty sure is that possible. If anyone knows, please share your experience with us. Thanks
