Default Strawberry's now fruiting

Is anyone else's strawberry's starting to flower now, i would have thought that it was a bit early just now. I gave them a bit of new compost with chicken manure pellets about 3 weeks ago and they have gone mad.

Yes , it is good to see at this time of year but i just thought it is a bit early in the year as mine have never fruited this early before . They are past the flower stage and i have about 20 fruits on one plant, maybe it it a sign of a good year

My alpine strawberries are flowering too, I posted about it in the fruit section but no one has replied yet.

I haven't fed mine with anything though, was amazed they survived the snow.

Mine have gone mental this year - it's the 2nd season for the main plants and 1st for the runners I had off them.

I've got about 30 flowers developing into fruit from the main 4 plants and around 10 between the 4 runner developments.
