Default New Containers

Picked up a couple of nice containers today about 2 foot round and over a foot and a half deep from the local car boot. With also a centre which I could pop a pole in if i needed.
Put space master cucumbers in one and peas in the other

also trying some bottle type cloches on the cumbers

In hind site I might take the cloches off I think it will just cook the seeds rather than help any thing

bottle cloches don't work too well, especially with big seedlings like cucumbers, squash etc...you might be better off covering the whole container with something like cling film or part of an old polytunnel cover, that would give you better heat and moisture retention as well as giving them a bit more space for their leaves to spread.
