Default 5 weeks in, hows I doing? Some feedback please

Ok, first year of growing veg, so not sure how fast things should be growing or if they are doing well or not, so I'd appreciate some feedback please.

I know I started late, these were all sown as seed on the 14th/15th April on the window sills, then planted out, so that's about a month and a week since sowing the seeds.

Moneymaker Aubergine :

Parthenon Courgette, with Salad Festival Sweet Peppers in the small pot on the right. Watermelon in the small pot on the left, but doesn't look too healthy:

Faworyt Beef Tomatoes (Planting on in bigger pots later today):

Mangetout (can't find the package so can't remember the variety):

We bought some ready made plants at Easter in case my own don't do much, but I'm hoping for something to happen . . .

Does the growth look about right for 5 weeks? What do yous think?

The courgette I feel is growing amazingly quick, as is the mangetout. I've planted marigold seeds as well in the pots, as this helps keep away the pests apparently.

Everything is in the Culti-Cave Plastic greenhouse:

Everything looks great to me so far, not that I know anything. Love the culti cave maybe a two shelf free standing thing would give you a bit more room? I like the wall mounted planters as well. Good use of space. I think I will use some of those soon. What way does your garden face?

Thats Wonderful, thanks Hammer This year is a learning year, so I'm expecting a few mistakes along the way.

Hia Ever Green, we thought about a walk in one but they were all too deep and I preferred the Culti-cave which is 2m x 80 cm. And come autumn we're going to put a raised bed in there in order to maximise space. Watch this space as they say, 'cos it's going to be a bit different

As for the herbs, well, we looked at wall pots but they were all too expensive, so a bit of lateral thinking later:

The pots are ones that have a water reservoir in the bottom, and an overflow drain with stopper, so come winter, the bottom two can come indoors.

Wooden batons with the pots screwed to them, with big washers to hold the weight properly. Works well, but in our haste we forgot to varnish the wood

Oh, the garden points just shy of west, and we get sun in the summer from about midday to dusk. Weather depending of course!
