Default Cucumbers & Peppers in Grow Bags

I am intending to grow Cucumbers and Peppers in grow bags using ring culture this year. Will I be okay with 3 plants per bag or is it advisable to stick to 2 per bag?

Well when I was in the garden centre the other day the guy in there said that it was advisable to only plant 2 cucumber plants per bag as they do like to put out roots and take lots of moisture from the bag!

So thats what I have done..

Ive heard 2 only, however Ive tried 3 in all of the bags this year and there hasnt been any difference in the normal grow rate. They all look just as healthy. Although I have noticed that they dry out very quickly so i find myself watering more often than usual.

Thanks for the feedback. I suspect they reccommend 2 per bag for the reason that they can dry out quicker, but I have auto watering so that will overcome that.
