Green mites

I have noticed a lot of green mites on my lettuce do I need to panic ? also I assume as long as I wash them well they are fine too eat ? The lettuce that is not the mites

Yeah, should be but they'll probably be eating your lettuces. I'd Wipe them off if you can and squash them. If there's loads you could try spraying with water with a bit of washing up liquid in or try and find a couple of ladybirds!
