planting seeds

Hi everyone,

I bought some seeds and it says they have to be planted by June. Can i still sow these now(in July) - If i do sow them now, will they still grow? Or should i wait until next year?

It depends what they are but with the seasons changing so much I would give it a go!

Suitable for growing in container? I want to give it a go this year (for harvest next summer) but I am not sure yet where I am putting everything, so thought I would do it in a container.

I had 4 buckets about the size of a Morrisons flower bucket and planted 3 cloves of garlic in each last autumn. I kept them barely watered in the greenhouse over a very hard winter and they have produced fat bulbs each one. The are now hanging drying in the greenhouse and the smell is wonderful. So go on and enjoy
