Question Strawberry Jar

Can anyone explain to me what a strawberry jar looks like and how do you plant strawberries in it, as I believe there is a special way to plant them.

I presume you mean something like this which you can also get in more of a rounded pot shape theyre good for herbs to you can get them in plastic and real terracotta

Thanks Keith, for replying, I have seen that one before, I just read something about a strawberry jar, in a mag, with no pictures, yesterday, and I just wondered if it was something new on the market, as it said you have to plant the strawberries in a special way. Oh well back to the drawing board.

That looks nice. I have just sown some alpine strawbs and if they grow I wanted to have them, in pretty tubs in the garden.
Although my puppy, Max is a fairly indiscriminate eater so I may be better off with hanging baskets or troughs fixed to the fence.
