Mushrooms

Hi,

I bought some button mushroom seeds ( spores ??!! ) from my local Wilkinsons. I've popped them in a large plastic tub in my greenhouse. Has anyone used / grown these before ?? Do you have a good crop with them ??
Just bought 'em to try as the plugged bark seemed expensive and a bit hard work.

Mushrooms are something that I would like to grow Paul. I was put off the plugs in a log by the price and the fact that you have to use a certain type of wood, plus many people say they have poor results.

I always thought that button mushrooms needed to be grown in the dark. How are yours getting on?
