Default mushroom compost

If i put mushroom compost on my brasica beds would i need to add lime.Although i have been told not to add lime on to a manured bed

Hi Bud,

To be honest, thats all i have done for my brasicas is give the ground a good dig over and cover with lime only and wait for the rain to wash the lime into the ground. Any left, i then rake it into the ground and walk overit to make the ground firm. I've always had a goodcrop of sprouts, cabbage etc..
