New Allotment

Just found out that I have been given an allotment today £16 for first year this includes it being rotavated then £8 thereafter, which I don't thinkis to bad.
Will be getting started this weekend........can't wait

It also has a 24 foot by 12 foot greenhouse on it.

Hi Paul we live in Chesterfield. I have asked them not to rotavate the allotment until I have dug it over and got out some of the weeds. The greenhouse is made of wood and is in a bad state so that will be a job in the summer, I will section part of it off an use it for a potting shed taking out the glass to be used in the rest of the greenhouse, I will then cover with ply and roofing felt for protection. I will place some photos on my blog this weekend, link at bottom of page. good luck for the coming year.....keep on digging.

Thats a fantastic deal including being rotavated, just had a look at your flick, excellent plot & pictures, looks like very fertile soil.

im soooo jealous,my plot is 35 a year n wouldnt even give me a bit of top soil for help
