Question new plot

have just rec ently aquired a plot that needs alot of work! my question is this we are fortunate to have an never ending supply of manure that is well rotted, and i want to know if it is too late to dig a load in and start planting straight away or should it be left to rot in first?

You should be ok to dig in your manure, mate of mine was late last year after getting his allotment late, but he rotavated it in which made it easier, he had a very good crop of everything he planted.
hope this helps.

Its never to late to start your plot.
In fact this is the ideal time of year as the ground will be ready for you to start transplanting your seedlings later.

if the manure is well rotted, you can just dig it in. the problem with unrotted manure is that it burns growing roots and also herbicides that have been used on pasture can still be active and cause problems with plants. if it has been left for 3 - 6 months, it is good to go.
