potatoe plant query

hi all i have planted spuds in pots they are doing well and about to harvest some they all flowered lovely but now the flowers have turned to what looks like unripe tomatoes ( i know they arent toms but thats the best way to describe them lol ) can anyone tell me what they are??

They are the fruit of the potato plant, they look like tomatos because they both belong to the same plant family as do the nightshades. DON'T eat them though they are poisonous.
