Default Are soaker hoses any good

Hi there

I have 6 raised beds spread out round the garden and looking for new ways to water plants . Im looking at the poss of soaker hoses cos I can bury in the soil and just leave it watering. Does anyone use these of can suggest on any other ways of watering as I can sort it before planting this year, and conventional watering with a hose/sprinkler dont get it fully to the plant roots where it needs it.

Thanks

i use these in my sweetppea beds my outdoor raised beds and other parts of my garden . i find that they will flood the beds if left on too long compact earth resticts the water flow so parts of the beds can be missed .
i use garden sprinklers left on untill beds are flooded
