Onion Sets

Hi Guys and Gals

Been out of circulation for a while (no not jail) and trying to get back into it.

My question relates to onion sets.

My local Wilkinson store is selling off their onion sets cheap (75% off). If its too late to plant them (is it?) is it worth buying for next year or is that false economy. If worth storing how do I go about it?
