Default OK to grow in soil that used to be under a patio?

A few years back we created a veg patch in a patch of soil that spent many years underneath a patio (we took up the patio). Is there any chance that the soil could be contaimated by the concrete and cement that would have been in the patio.

We have recently discovered that our son has very high levels of heavy metals, including uranium, in his system, and are trying to track down where it has come from. He loves the veg from our patch and we wondered if it could be that the patio contaminated the soil. Anyone got any thoughts?

Cheers in advance,

Dave.
