Default Arranging allotment

Hi Guys, well went back today to see my new allotment.

and i need some tips on how to arrange this so it works out.

from eye the measurments are about 3.5-4ft by 26-32ft.

I think my dad will be using a third to use for potatoes. so still leaves quiet abit of room.

I want to grow my usual, : leeks, carrots, mangetout, runner beans, strawberries, pak choi a couple of rows of potatoes myself.

Would there be enough room for this? and how would i do it?

thanks

When I planned mine, I measured exactly how large my plot was so that I could work out the spacings that I would require. Then I bought an A4 lined notebook, drew a rough shape of my plot with indications of raised beds and other important points, and consulted the gardening books! I use two books; 'Alan Titchmarash The Kitchen Gardener' this has all the spacing requirements for most veg, and secondly 'Fruit and Vegetable Gardening' by Readers Digest, which I use as it has a page of garden companions! Planning in this way also doubles as a diary that you can refer back to each year to aid with crop-rotation.

If you would like me to scan the relevant pages from my books, let me know as this won't be a problem

I've managed to finally fix my scanner!! So tomorrow, I will scan all the pages from my books and put them into a PDF file for you! If there's any more veg that you need to know, let me know and I will scan them as well
