Default Strimmer manual

I have inherited a petrol grass strimmer - at last the paths and edges can look neat and tidy like the other plots. Trouble is that it doesn't have and instruction manual and I'm trying to find out what the mixture is for oil in the petrol, its a 2 stroke.

The strimmer is a Sovereign SGT 24. Does anyone have a link to a manual for this machine or a copy they can e-mail me.

I've googled it and there is conflictcting advice - some say a mixture of 40:1, others that it depends if it is mineral, semi or fully synthetic. Ohters say use whats on the bottle.

A definite answer would be nice so I don't ruin the engine - it took me long enough to come by a strimmer

Thanks all

George

Hi

This may help - fixed4free.com - what is the fuel ratio for a sovereign sgt 24 grass trimmer? - Garden Tools, Grass Trimmers - Free repair information for appliances, electricals and electronics.

Also I have a Stihl petrol strimmer and I use 100ml of oil with every 5 litres of petrol.

Jim,

Couldn't get the manual at that web address - others but not that one.

However, wrote to them in Germany and they sent me a scan of the manual.

If anyone needs a manual for the model in question e-mail me and I'll send on.

Default sgt 24 manual

Hi George

Just yesterday I bought a second hand sovereign sgt 24 - but the previous owner had misplaced the manual - any chance you could email me a copy?

Many thanks

Matt

Hello Guys and Gals

A number have asked for a copy of the manual - I've been having trouble with my e-mail but I thinks it's now sorted.

Hope I've caught up with everyone, if not resend me an e-mail and I'll post manual to you.

Apologies

George
