Hi
Well I've done it and it works! ; - ) Have not seen any albertrosses, Bald Headed Eagles, ect for months! To be sensible.. I have done it and it does work. I basically put some wooden posts up. Drilled 4mm holes through the cd's and up they went. I used 2 old TAX cd's, several cd's out of the sunday times and a Black eyed Peas CD. I've also use cheap little wind mills, the type kind get and I made myseld a scarecrow, even though the mole who is making ver depressed takes not a bit of notice!! regards Paul |

My mum uses them around her pond to keep the herons away. She says they seem to work. I have a different problem. My garden is at the bottom of a three storey block. The pidgeons like to sit on the roof right above my back door. You can imagine the mess. Maybe I'm paranoid but I'm sure they do it on purpose. I did a bit of research on the web and came up with a cut-out of a bird of prey as a shadow. Hang it on a bit of sting on a long bamboo pole or washing line and it is supposed to drive them from the area. So far my cat is having fun playing with it. It is early days but I will keep trying.
