Default Things to grow this time of year

Guys and gals

Eventually got the last third of the plot cleared. So I'm looking for what can be sown this time of year. Recommndations

Heard about winter onions - grown from seed ? types?

Beetroot,spring cabbage,chicory,Chinese cabbage,carrots,kohlrabi,lettuce,early pea variety,French beans,radish and spring onions.Bulb onions more cost effective from Tesco and taste the same.

Thanks for that JM - just got to track them down - especially the early pea. Agree with the quote on onions - but they look good
