Need abit of help starting

Hi I just made a plot to grow on, but am abit lost with seeding, am going to sow lettuce the seeds r small do I drop 1 at a time or just spread them out? Same with beetroot, also how do you sow them when they have grown. Soz if sound stupid but I am at this!

Hi Jay, Just make a drill in the ground about 1/2" deep, sprinkle the seeds thinly along the drill and cover them up. Put a label at one end. Keep moist but do not overwater. Lettice should be up within a few days, beetroot a bit longer.
