rubbish posts

there are two members who semm to be posting rubbish can this be sorted
they are tomtroy and richard.daniel

There are quite a few more very recent members, who are obvious spammers, and are spoiling the forum. Another gardening forum was recently hit with the same problem and they had to be banned from the forum.
There is a "report button" on each post, and I would suggest that people use to report the spam.

I reported some of them too

Just recently there seems to be quite a few members with spammy signatures too. The forum seems to be getting hit more than usual. Reporting them should help.

Hi guys,

Although I'm not on the forum I will always act and remove any posts that you guys mark as spam.

As realfood has said, simply hit that "report button" and I'll get rid of them within 24 hours.

I do indeed ban the members, any usernames you have can be sent to me for investigation and banning...

Please report spam posts & memberships. I do whenever I come across them, hope it helps?

Yup as Alison and others have said in the past, please do keep reporting posts. I try to get to them within 24 hours after notification. It helps me and it helps the site

So far quite a few people do help out with this but it's great if even more people get involved.

Hi All,
I did go to the shops yesterday, looking to by some heavy water.
However on the way, this chap, holding a small dog, stopped and asked me the way to the barbers shop.
Upside time, loads of times even, twice a week,, was my response,????

Scratching his head and calling me a nutter, off he walked, in the direction of "Homebase", which i am told by a reliable source, does actually stock "Posts" that are Rubbish

Be careful of "Rubbish" posts now The Boss is back with a "New Batch" of cards, Welsh 1's no less than.

I used to deliver papers some years ago. One customer had a very vicious dog and when i put the paper through the letterbox I held on to it, the dog grabbed it and pulled. I hope the owner kicked his backside for tearing the paper.

There seems to be another outbreak of spamming requiring the attention of the mods.

I must apologise to all our members for the rubbish which some spammers have managed to post.
