Hakea

Hi all
I have been given some seeds called Pincushion Hakea.All I have found out about it is that it is Australian and is frost tolerant.I have a rough description of how to germinate but am looking for a fellow gardener who has grown one to give me some hands on advice.The most important thing is will it grow over here.I am based in Berkshire so the weather is not to extreme.Thanks for any advice
