Those are beautiful photo's Hollie. I'm pretty hopeless on flowers so my guess would be one of the many dahlia varieties.

(Sorry, but the photo's were held in moderation.)

It looks like a chrysanthemum to me. The white flower is Iberis I believe.

Oh thanks Guys for the lovely compliments! Im sorry I have not been around for a while - my garden is keeping me pretty busy! This sun then rain then sun idea really makes the garden grow, tee hee!

I have some more pics of my garden for you all and some "mystery" plants that if you can help with it would be great...

This is the view from my patio table (through some chives)

This "Mystery" plant is nestled in with the Ivy in a raised bed by my pond. Any ideas?

I have no clue what this is, at first I thought it may be some kind of Poppy. If you brush past it the petals just fall away... very fragile:

Hi Hollie, now don't forget that I am hopeless with flowers but is this the purple one hiding in the ivy?? Which translating the page they think is either bellflower Carpathian or Campanula carpatica.

Google Image Result for http://www.fond-ecran-image.com/galerie-membre,fleur-campanule,campanules-5033.jpg

I grew some Cornflowers from seed this year and I didn't expect them to do too well, but a handful have come up!

This is certainly a Campanula, but would need to see the leaves & habit of the plant to be sure of which species - there are over 300 and they pretty much all have blue ball-shaped flowers!

Wow Pipsqeak! Thanks so much, how knowledgeable you are!

I really like the campanulas, they are pretty. However, I though bind weed flowers were pretty too!

If you like that hollie, go buy some Canterbury Bells seed [cup and saucer]. They will not flower until the second year, but they are so beautiful its worth the wait.

Paghat's Garden: Campanula medium var calycanthema, Lilac Blue

This is certainly a wind chimes, but need to see the leaves and habit of the plant, to ensure that these species - more than 300, they spend almost all the blue ball!
