Default Garden decorations

Hi guys and gals

The word decorations may be a bit misleading in the title - but couldn't think of a good description.

Now I'm taking care of the allotment so my wife wants to start on the back garden.

But it lacks interesting features - so can anyone recommend a book on home production of planters, trellis, figures, mosaics and such things. They tend to be expensive items to buy and the funds won't stretch to the cost.

There's a few on Amazon which may be useful, but I haven't read them though. Most of which are quite cheap.

Garden Crafts: Amazon.co.uk: Geraldine Rudge, Jacqui Hurst: Books

Garden Crafts: A Practical Guide to Creating Handcrafted Features for Your Garden: Amazon.co.uk: Geraldine Rudge, Jacqui Hurst: Books

Garden Decoration from Junk: Amazon.co.uk: Leeann Mackenzie: Books

You could always have a look in your local library first, or in those publisher outlet book shops - at least that way you could have a flick through before you buy.

Nicola

The more in the garden the better I think it gives a garden a real play mystical feel when you add things like ornamental fairies and frogs. A bird bath to attract wild life into the garden and a fish pond with water Lillie's and a little water fall with stepping stones leading up to a bridge. Don't forget the gnomes and a sun dial.
