i decided, somewhat naively, that it would be fun to cross bread 2 of the phalanopsis (moth) orchids i have

so 10 weeks after pollinating (that took a few attempts) i'm thinking it can't be that far off a ripe seed pod...wrong got another 14 weeks at an absolute min

then i need to see if the seed is actually viable (requires a microscope) before i start playing with sterile growth media and seed which is too small to see or germinate without help

then in about 10 years i might end up with an interesting new flower... name suggestions i'm thinking Phal. 'long wait'
