Default Echinacea when to plant out

I have just recieved 3 root crowns and don't realy know what to do with them. The weather here is a bit wintery with snow showers yesterday. They are bare root crowns so I don't want them to dry out. When should I put them in the garden and what should I do with them until then?

I would plant them in the ground now and maybe just mulch them with compost to protect them a bit it should be warming up down South enough now and i think we have High Pressure building again next week. If you really think the ground is to wet and cold then pot them into 3 litre pots until its a bit warmer

I've potted them up and put them in my mini greenhouse. It will give them cance to aclimatise then I can pop them in the ground in a week or so.

Thanks for the advice.
