Default What are these?

Hello, these plants are growing in my pasture. Does anyone know what they are? They are different from the watermelon and cantaloupe I have planted in my garden. They are covered with big thorns and little prickly thorns , so my horses won't bother them. They both have different colored fruits growing on them. One is speckled like a watermelon, and the other is yellow. Thanks for the info.

Those look like gooseberry to me as well. Gooseberry can grow in a few different colors and look like little, fat watermelon marbles. Some of them are prickly, too.
