Wild Strawberries

Who loves the taste of wild strawberries? Miles better than there big cousin. I used to work on a garden where they were absolutely thriving growing out of the cracks of an old retaining brick wall.
Has anyone tried eating these or growing them?

I am hinking of growing Alpine strawberries. Something different and not always seen. Wild strawberries sound nice. Google here I come.
