Default Weeds

The weeds around my raspberries, blackcurrants, gooseberries and rhubarb have got completely out of hand. Short of a flame thrower has anyone got any ideas? I don't really want to use nasty poisonous chemicals but I'm totally daunted by the amount of back breaking weeding to be done. Help

Smile Ref; weeds

Hi Vegswap
Get a few black bin liners and spread them out covering the weeds, allowing just the stems of your plants to protrude through, put some soil over the plastic to secure and if they ain't got light they wont grow, however get the worst out first.
Hope this helps???? cheers (stupo) paul
